Plaid’s finance team builds the financial infrastructure to enable sustainable, scalable growth and to ensure attractive long-term economics. This member will manage our dynamic stock administration function as the company grows. The ideal candidate will develop strong working relationships with cross-functional partners such as the People and Legal teams. What excites you…
 
Accurately and efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of Plaid’s global equity program
Drive employee education by hosting company-wide trainings and triaging employee emails
Own equity grant exhibit for Board approval, including new hire, merit, and refresh grants
Assist payroll with income and tax calculations and maintain compliance with all IRS regulations and filings
Prepare journal entries related to equity transactions, such as employee exercises
Ensure system (Carta) accuracy for all grants, terminations, employee exercises, and repurchases; partner with external counsel to reconcile cap table information
Assist with special equity projects as needed
 
What excites us…
 
3+ years experience with private-company equity plans
Strong understanding of all equity award types and corresponding tax implications
Communicating and interacting with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders
Experience with Carta a plus
Strong attention to detail
