We’re seeking a Senior HR Analyst to join our People Operations team! This is a full-time role and can be based remotely anywhere in the U.S. People Operations is the foundation of Medium’s People Team by focusing on continuously improving the employee experience via technology optimization, streamlined processes, total rewards administration and ensuring all solutions are in compliance with local, state and federal guidelines.
The Senior HR Analyst role will add tremendous value by providing reports, dashboards and insights to enable Medium to make the right business decisions, proactively identify areas of opportunity and continuously improve to move the business forward.
What will you do?
Collect and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, performance data, and other sources.
Analyze data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, learning and development, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Prepare reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to leadership.
Identify and recommend reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
Project manage data cleanup efforts.
Who are you?
5+ years of experience reporting and analyzing HR data.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Thorough understanding of data privacy laws.
Proficient with HRIS, payroll and other employee management software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
