The Privacy and Data Ethics Organization under Plaid’s Chief Privacy Officer is looking for a Sr. Privacy Engagement Manager to help us design, build, implement and operate a holistic internal privacy and data ethics training and awareness program as well as support comms, GTM, security assurance, and other teams in ensuring consistent and accurate external communications regarding our privacy and data ethics program reflective of the evolving privacy landscape. Day-to-day responsibilities include: 
Coordinating with internal communications, HR, privacy governance, and operations teams on building a privacy and data ethics training and awareness program tailored to meet the needs of Plaid and different teams within Plaid. 
Supporting GTM teams in communicating about our privacy and data ethics practices at Plaid, including developing messaging and materials.
Assisting our support teams to develop external facing support articles regarding our privacy and data ethics practices and also that help educate our customers on best practices regarding privacy and data ethics when using Plaid’s products and service. Working closely with the Chief Privacy Officer to develop and execute against the privacy and data ethics roadmap.
You will work cross-functionally with members of our security compliance, EPDS operations, HR, internal communications, legal and compliance teams to build an internal privacy and data ethics training and awareness program that promotes Plaid’s privacy and data ethics pillars internally and ensures all Plaids are are armed with relevant education regarding privacy and data ethics to help them do their jobs.
You will work with our support, sales, marketing and external communications teams to develop relevant external facing materials to assist in responding to privacy and data ethics related questions from customers, consumers and financial institutions. 
You will help build a strategy and program to help promote and support use of privacy and data ethics best practice amongst developer customers.

What excites us:
 
5+ years in roles that involved generating and/or having to lead customer-facing communications about privacy and/or data ethics, or 2+ years of doing so in relation to privacy with 3+ years of having to do so in relation to related areas such as compliance, security, or data governance. 
Experience monitoring global privacy frameworks.
Experience building or running internal privacy training and awareness programs.
