We are looking for a Group Product Manager with both creative and analytical thinking to work on Spotify’s Discovery & Distribution, a community of product managers, designers, engineers, researchers and data scientists working on some of the most strategically important priorities for the organization.
Your work will be used by and impact the lives of millions of people around the world.
What you’ll do
Own one of two areas inside Discovery & Distribution, encompassing several teams that focus on one strategic domain
Develop a team of 3-5 Product Managers within your area
Define and drive overall product vision, strategy and metrics for your area and galvanize the teams to follow you
Work closely with partners across the organization to make sure that you and the area provides for the company’s short- and long-term goals.
Make sure that your teams are strong and balanced – including capabilities, happiness, resilience and growth.
Work relentlessly to make sure your team is doing the right things, while not spreading too thinly.
Who you are
You have several years of experience managing and developing well-loved ML mobile products
Experienced in defining and driving product strategy across more than one team
You are highly analytical and have deep knowledge of A/B testing methods
You have excellent leadership and relationship building skills.
You are an excellent communicator and storyteller, presenting concepts and ideas to partners at all levels, in different shapes depending on the context
You are good at sorting out ambiguity
You know how to influence decision-making at all levels within an organisation, and in a variety of contexts
You have high standards for yourself and others
You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away
Where You’ll Be
We are a distributed workforce enabling our band members to find a work mode that is best for them! Where in the world? For this role, it can be within the EMEA region in which we have a work location and is within working hours. Working hours? We operate within the Central European and GMT time zones for collaboration and ask that all be located in that time zone. Prefer an office to work from home instead? Not a problem!
