Job Description

At Arrival, our team is creating best-in-class electric vehicles using a radical new method of design and production. We work with some of the world’s leading businesses and governments to achieve our goal of redefining mobility and transport ecosystems, transforming how people and goods travel and enhancing urban environments for all communities.
Innovation, rapid development and testing help us to push the boundaries. Our New Method takes our portfolio of patented technologies created in-house, and combines it with assembly in Arrival Microfactories. It’s a groundbreaking approach, leading to products with maximum functionality, peak efficiency, and an elevated experience at a much more competitive price than other electric vehicles, and even fossil fuel vehicles.
The Vehicle Electrical Architecture (VEA) team is currently involved with 4 vehicle programs: a 12m Bus, a 7-ton Van, a 3.5-ton Van and a Car for the ride hailing market. We are looking for a data technician/librarian to drive quality, commonality and efficiency into our designs, processes and toolchains across all projects; who will also be working on our core central technologies including toolchain development, component selection and design for robotic-assembly. Arrival will fully assemble it’s vehicles in robotic cells, electrical distribution is one of the greater design challenges we face to this goal.
To support the Electrical Architecture team through assuring quality of supplied data
Database population, maintenance and improvement 
In-house toolchain design, development and test
Automation of engineering processes and data management
Communicate and liaise with vehicle teams, build teams and engineering to ensure prototype designs are integrated smoothly and business deadlines are met
Tracking of all data releases
A passion for engineering
Programming experience (e.g. Python)
Data set analysis and presentation  (medium sized dataset)
The ability to Interpret engineering information in multiple formats
Microsoft Office proficient 
Excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to communicate well to a broad range of stakeholders within the business
Attention to detail in every aspect of work 
Passion for Continuous Improvement & Critical Thinking
Degree (or similar) in Computer Science / Electrical & Electronic Engineering with Software Experience
