Nuix is currently seeking an experienced Commercial Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Corporate Development & Strategy and Chief Financial Officer with research, reporting, financial modelling and analysis to enable the CEO and Executive Committee to identify and execute strategic revenue and business optimisation initiatives to drive accelerated growth for Nuix.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform analysis to support and drive Nuix’s strategic initiatives, including ROI on the strategic initiatives portfolio, GTM strategy metrics, Channel/Partner strategy metrics and modelling to support Pricing Strategy.
Provide research, analytical and modelling support as required for any potential M&A opportunities and pre-and post-other potential corporate transactions.
Contribute to customer deal structuring and analysis reviews to support continuous improvement of value capture through sales approaches and processes.
Drive and create commercially focused, data-driven business improvements across multiple teams, including ad-hoc commercial analysis support to other teams within Nuix as required e.g. business case development.
Provide research and analytical support as required for leadership meetings, board papers, and other communications.
Create and present excel models that will help to track trends in the business and industry.
Project manage relevant commercial and/or strategy initiatives with support from Nuix leaders.
Be accountable for self-development and continuous learning.
Maintain positive and productive relationships with team members and key stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a business and/or commercial analysis role.
Minimum Bachelor level degree in relevant area such as Finance, Accounting or Commerce.
Experience in research and analysis in support of strategy projects and/or workstreams.
Demonstrated ability to create, maintain and develop financial or quantitative models.
Exposure to software commercial, licensing and pricing models highly desirable.
Exposure to software statutory revenue recognition and complementary business performance metrics highly desirable.
Corporate and/or technology strategy experience highly desirable.
Experience in delivering executive and board level reports / materials.
Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate and timely financial information in support of management decision making.
Demonstrated ability to communicate financial information to people with a non-financial background.
Strong computer skills, including experience in the use of financial management systems.
Advanced Excel Spreadsheet skills.
