Das Leistungsprofil der GIZ wird dabei kontinuierlich an die Kooperationsbedarfe beider Länder im Rahmen der „Umfassenden Deutsch-Chinesischen Strategischen Partnerschaft“ sowie an die dynamischen Veränderungsprozesse im Rahmen der chinesischen Reformpolitik angepasst. Weiterhin berät und arbeitet sie als Dienstleister an der Schnittstelle zwischen Politik und Wirtschaft. Die GIZ agiert zudem in Handlungsfeldern, in denen deutsche Akteure über ein fundiertes Profil und Wettbewerbsvorteile verfügen und deutsche Expertise nachgefragt wird.

The China-Team of the Global Project Quality Infrastructure (www.gpqi.org) offers a full-time position as Advisor on Legal and Regulatory Affairs, based in Beijing and starting at the earliest date possible.

 

 

Your tasks

 

  • Advising the partners of the dialogue from government agencies, as well as stakeholders from business associations, industry and research institutions in China and Germany
  • Policy and legal analysis, development of topics and planning of cooperation activities together with the relevant government partners and stakeholders in the area of market regulation and product safety
  • Professional project and process management of tasks and collaborative work processes
  • Development and management of government relations and stakeholder networks in the industry and technical-scientific institutions.
  • Efficient and target-oriented communication with the government partners and all stakeholder groups involved.
  • Participation in quality and knowledge management
  • Support of public relations work for the project
Requirement:Your profile

 

  • Academic specialisation in Law, not necessarily a Masters/MSc/MA or PhD in law
  • 1-5 years professional experience, preferably in business or government, with at least 1 year professional experience in a comparable position.
  • Fluency in Chinese and English (written and spoken), good German skills are considered a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High work ethics, reliability, self-motivation and initiative. The successful candidate must be able to independently handle multiple simultaneous assignments with competing priorities and fixed deadlines.
  • Excellent organisation and project management skills. Efficient, accurate and high-quality delivery of all work-related output.
  • Very good working knowledge of common IT and communication applications.
